Reading Program
We aim to foster skillful, joyful readers. We utilize meaningful conversation throughout the day so children can learn communication and comprehension skills. To aid in children's lifelong learning success, we engage the children in plentiful conversation and offer them opportunities to express themselves. We ask questions, name things in our environment, practice phonemic and print awareness, and prioritize phonics and sound to letter connections.
